Why this is happening is more important than what is happening

As I was working to list the units detailed to the Army of the Potomac, I realized that this was not a productive use of time. Instead of cataloging WHO was there, I should be trying to discern WHY they are there. I have come up with a couple of ideas.

We know that the election was stolen. We also know that the Capitol incursion was a false flag job. Since the attack was planned and put into motion DAYS before the President's speech, this was not impromptu. Since Pelosi, the Mayor of DC, the Director of the FBI, and others KNEW about it and not only failed to act, but took positive steps to prevent others from acting, this was done under the direction of the Democrat party and its leaders.

It's obvious why the Capitol attack happened: It allowed both the assembly of the Army of the Potomac and the elimination of any opposing speech from the right. Ok, but WHY are they assembling this army?

There are three reasons that I can think of:

1 They needed a large, negative event to shock the nation into accepting Trump being impeached.

I don't think that an event this large, along with the callup of two divisions of troops was needed to impeach Trump again. Also, why put all 50 states on alert? The powers doing this have a MUCH larger agenda in mind, or else they would not have pressed so hard.

2. They are trying to silence those who claim that the election was stolen, thus preventing the nation from focusing on his illegitimate presidency.

For the same reasons as above, I just don't see this large of an event being needed to cover for a stolen election. I have seen the theory that this is being done to prevent actions being taken against the methods that were used to steal the election. This seems rather extreme.

3. There is something MUCH larger coming.

The election was stolen. Not in a subtle manner. It was done in such a way as to be obvious, in such a way that they KNEW it would be caught. So they either don't care that they will be caught, or they WANTED to be caught.

Then they fired up their base. Even the troops on TV are saying that they are proud to be defending against a "white supremacist revolution." For years, we have heard those on the right say that the Army and our police would never fire on fellow Americans because they are our neighbors. Now they are saying "If it wasn't my job, I would have done it for free. It was my privilege to help stop a white nationalist insurrection."

This worries me. My wife keeps telling me that all of this is just talk. She says to stop worrying because all of the talk of enemies lists, reeducation camps, and making it illegal to protest a stolen election are just that- talk. My wife has told me that, "They will never be able to pass any of that." Sometimes I wonder if I am letting all of this get to me, but I see what I see.

Why would anyone go to so much trouble? Or am I just seeing a conspiracy where there isn't one?

EDITED TO ADD: I honestly don't think that #1 or #2 are it, but I have to concede the possibility. After all, I have been wrong about things before. - Thanks to Big Country for pointing out that my ideas may be off base...

On the bright side, those troops provide a buffer between the capitol police and the peaceful, unarmed Trump supporters. If it saves one life...

(My contribution to these discussions will be limited to sarcasm from this point forward.)

The deployment could be for two simple, and perhaps related, reasons:
1. The left is afraid, because they know that we know that they lost.
2. They honestly think that Trump is going to lead an army against them.

Always remember that they don’t understand Liberty. Milton Friedman said “Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.“

Another thing that makes you go what???
Why are hundreds of troops stationed INSIDE the Capitol?
They have a fence, however bolted/locked together around the entire perimeter, but still feel the need to have that many stationed inside the building.
It doesn't make any sense.
I can see a few teams inside , but not a whole battalion or two.

For those who think National Guard troops will not shoot civilians, remember the Ohio National Guard at Kent State? May 4, 1970, four dead, nine wounded, unarmed college students. Something else to think about and perhaps worry about.

I know right!? What or who are they worried about controlling within DC itself? Even the internal check points on the streets are overkill too. The Trump supporters are not there so who or what are they worried about?

And since the 20K-30K Reserves are allowed to use lethal force I wonder how many attended (were present) and when was their last class on the use of lethal force against civilians? Any bets the ones for this "goat rope" were pencil jobs?(To be filled in later) Or any bets on the use of a "Free Fire Zone" understanding?

What if the 30,000 are there to stop the destruction of DC by Democrats when Trump declares martial law and sayto Biden, you are not going to steal this.

Your wife had a failure of imagination. When a communist tells you they are going to kill you, then you should believe them.

I'll be Blunt:

Biden/Harris/(((Emhoff)))

won (in the most literal) sense

the fake, crooked, uniparty election. Now

stop the Trumpchump nonsense, and

get on board with the ZOG program.

or else.

Watching YouTube videos on Defense Flash News and U.S. Defence System channels. Serious and very public. The Guard units look like they are deplaning at Kandahar instead of Andrews. WTF? Sidearms with mags inserted on the tarmac at Andrews? Do they have rounds loaded? Why is any of this necessary for a freaking inauguration even considering events of the 6th? Answer: it isn't. Something much bigger obviously.

This massive deployment of troops, obviously and wholly unnecessary,is a PR move on behalf of our new authoritarian government. It is a show of force to illustrate to you your future; a boot on the neck of humankind, forever.

Yeah, deploying with loaded weapons at Andrews would be ridiculous. They didn't even do that as troops deplaned in Vietnam or Baghdad. However, I have not seen any troops with loaded weapons. All appear to be unloaded.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGM0es9Slkk U.S. Defense System video. @ 14:41 minutes the "load master" with a drop leg holster looks like there is a mag inserted. Maybe? Empty or loaded? Some one more in the know then I can offer an opinion maybe. From my limited experience in the USAR, if we drew weapons at the Reserve Center (Armory or whatever), we didn't draw magazines until it was shooting time, then we drew mags and ammo from the ammo point (hanger, connex, truck, whatever). My M9 was holstered without a mag. Different units different SOPs I guess or some really radical ROE for these NG troops. Could be I'm just nit picking as a means of coping.
