According to Google, the page where relief funds are requested by the United Way was created three days before the shooting took place. This is a bit hard to believe. Can anyone with more Internet knowledge than I explain how this is possible?
EDITED TO ADD: Because the web page goes on to talk about all of the 911 truther nonsense, it makes it even less credible in my mind.

I talked with the guy I know who knows the most about how this works. Very senior level engineer.
He's down with the "glitch or software error" theory - mostly because the Fed.gov is too stupid to pull something like that off. When I reminded him of Fast and Furious and while US BATFE people didn't personally shoot Mexican high school girls, they certainly ran guns to people that you'd think would shoot little girls. He kinda said, "yeah, there's that", but still thinks they're too stupid to run a real conspiracy.
That's a pretty common view among people who have worked on military contracts for Fed.gov.
