There are many jokes about how a Civil War against the left would be over quickly, the left are a bunch of incompetent wimps, etc. Look at the picture from the Denver pepper spray shooting:
Good grip, good stance, what looks like an M&P with a holographic sight, a weapon mounted light, and a head shot. This guy is equipped better and performed better than most police officers.
Think about that.

Anybody can pose as a bad-ass when no one is SHOOTING BACK at them. Lets see how he reacts when the rounds are going both ways. Especially if the opponent is shooting from behind cover.
So far, the only person who has had the balls to do that is a 17 year old kid.

Painting with a broad brush, the left treats violence as a volume knob. They crank it up for a bit, then they turn it down. They're constantly fiddling with it. The right treats violence like a lightswitch. It's currently off. I'm not excited to see what happens when it gets flipped.
