Michael Moore says that the Democrats should shut down the government until the Republicans agree to hand them the Supreme Court.
That isn't a threat. Pretty much the only thing that shuts down is National Parks and Monuments. I thought they were already shut down due to COVID.
There are ALOT of other government activities that stop during a shutdown.
ReplyDeleteParks and monuments only shut down when Obama was peeved and trying to make the shutdowns annoying.
Of course, he also tried to shut down non-government facilities to, for example Monticello which is owned by a private foundation... but as you know, he didn't care much about the law...
