Commie Pope like all communists

The Pope, like all communists, wants to redistribute the wealth of others. Nevermind that the Catholic Church is worth over $30 billion. The Pope wants your wealth redistributed.

  1. People get a lot wrong about Catholicism.

The pope is, of course, the head of the Church. But he's seen as infallible only in matters of Doctrine, of which he can only interpret. Other than that, often times he's no smarter than any other schmo. So when he blithers like this, most of us shrug it off.

The other thing is that financially it isn't a top-down organization like, say, General Motors. So $30B may be an aggregate of all the parishes plus the Vatican, worldwide. The vatican can make no claim on diocesan or parish funds. The diocese is independent for the most part. This is also why suing Rome is frutiless when a priest diddles your kid.

    1. So all of the priceless works of art it Vatican city can't be used to redistribute some wealth?

  2. The artwork belongs to the Church. The people. It isn't his or any of the lavender mafia's to sell. And I'd say that most of the Church doesn't believe in what he's selling.

But you are right. He's a hypocrite that wants to use other's money.

"The pope wrote that the belief of early Christians - “that if one person lacks what is necessary to live with dignity, it is because another person is detaining it” - was still valid."

The man's an idiot, a commie, and a fraud. That thought they reprinted is called "envy" and is a deadly sin, as is taking another's wealth at the point of a gun, which is where we go if we follow his advice. Redistributing wealth isn't part of the faith. Subsidiarity is, which is what he SHOULD be preaching.

  3. @Divemedic. Selling off some of the Vatican’s wealth to help the poor was Albino Luciani’s plan. He was murdered by the Roman Curia (Vatican Deep State) after a month in office.
