“Unhappy it is, though, to reflect that a brother’s sword has been sheathed in a brother’s breast and that the once-happy plains of America are either to be drenched with blood or inhabited by slaves. Sad alternative! But can a virtuous man hesitate in his choice?” - George Washington, 1777

Mwahahaha
My smoke grenades got delivered today. I am going to try a couple out in the next day or two. Next: sourcing flash bangs and CS grenades.
I've seen some that are only for sale to re-enactors and paintballers... I think the difference is in how loud they are and how bright the flash is. I heard a claim once that 'training' ones are 120 dB and 'actual' ones are 160dB, but haven't verified it.
Keep us posted. Flash bang tickle my fancy
ReplyDeleteAre flash bangs nfa controlled?
ReplyDeleteSome are, some are not. Right now, the only thing I can find is rounds for 37mm launchers that claim to be pyrotechnics for scaring birds away.

It is actually related to the amount of explosive material it contains. Of course, this does have a direct effect on the amount of noise made.
