About Me

Divemedic: I joined the US Navy right out of high school and was a NUC electrician. Six years of that, and I left to find my way in the civilian world. After spending the next 22 years working in EMS and fire, I retired in 2011. I came out of retirement after two years of boredom to begin my third career as a high school science teacher. I have a wide set of interests, as I am a SCUBA diver, gun and shooting enthusiast, general class HAM radio operator, prepper and all around science geek. I am also a hockey fan, and spend my vacations travelling the world. After my years travelling the world in the military, EMS, and fire, there are not many things that surprise me about the way that people behave.
